Misty Hills Launches NEW facilities ahead of the Soccer World Cup


Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa celebrated the launch of their new facilities and room opening, in an official ceremony that took place on Friday, 30th September 2009 at Misty Hills.

The hotel has recently undergone a 30 million rand upgrade including the addition of 62 new rooms ahead of the 2010 Soccer World Cup. In response to demand from overseas tourists and local corporate conferencing, the new en-suite rooms have increased Misty Hill’s room capacity to 215.


The ceremony was officiated by Recreation Africa Executive Chairman, Robert Forsyth and Executive Director, Adele Forsyth, who welcomed and addressed the guests. Group Operations Manager, Gilbert Hickman led the site inspection of the hotel facilities, including plans for the new Exhibition Centre which is set to open in February 2010. The official proceedings were followed by dinner at the Carnivore.



The guest list includes Recreation Africa directors and management, local government, as well as corporate representatives and conference organisers. VIP’s included Jomo Sono, Adv. Lentswe Mokgatle, along with others.
